15 Things What I Wish I Knew as a High School Senior

line

At the age of 17, I graduated High School and found myself with a little knowledge, a nice piece of paper reading High School Diploma, an acceptance letter to college and a dream of sleeping the summer away. There are a few things I wish I would have known then. Being 19 years later, I thought I would share them with you.

  1. Live what is right.
  2. Debt stinks!
  3. Work like you mean it.
  4. Present choices determine future results.
  5. Friends come and go, but you have to live with yourself forever.
  6. Your parents do know what they are talking about.
  7. The job at Burger King stinks now, but you are developing a work ethic.
  8. Golf is better when you are young.
  9. Get a Mutual Fund fast.
  10. Keep a journal.
  11. God is really in control.
  12. You have no idea what you will do with your life, so get more skills.
  13. Knowing how to work on your own car is a good thing.
  14. Read on leadership, finance and personal development.
  15. Eat more ice cream when you are young.

Just my thoughts,
