15 Things What I Wish I Knew as a High School Senior
At the age of 17, I graduated High School and found myself with a little knowledge, a nice piece of paper reading High School Diploma, an acceptance letter to college and a dream of sleeping the summer away. There are a few things I wish I would have known then. Being 19 years later, I thought I would share them with you.
- Live what is right.
- Debt stinks!
- Work like you mean it.
- Present choices determine future results.
- Friends come and go, but you have to live with yourself forever.
- Your parents do know what they are talking about.
- The job at Burger King stinks now, but you are developing a work ethic.
- Golf is better when you are young.
- Get a Mutual Fund fast.
- Keep a journal.
- God is really in control.
- You have no idea what you will do with your life, so get more skills.
- Knowing how to work on your own car is a good thing.
- Read on leadership, finance and personal development.
- Eat more ice cream when you are young.
Just my thoughts,
